A little about our team:
The Content Acquisition team drives revenue success by forging creative partnerships with and maximizing its growth within the Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA). As part of the Warner Music Group, ADA is a global distribution solutions and marketing services organization, deeply committed to the independent label and artist community. ADA gives artists, labels and independent creators access to a dedicated global distribution network and a dedicated and passionate team of experts who provide a panoramic range of services that include sales/marketing, digital marketing, fan acquisition solutions, radio promotion, music licensing/sync and much more.
Your turn:
As an Associate Director of Content Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of content acquisition at ADA. The goal of this role is to help streamline and streamline content acquisition workflows, creating efficiencies that will help expand ADA’s global footprint in the market. This will include collaboration with multiple teams across ADA, including A&R, Sync, Legal, and Financial. You will report to the Vice President of A&R and Content Acquisition.
Here you will get:
• Organize deal flow via active conversations, memorialize terms and track statuses
• Liaise between deal team, label management and operations teams to coordinate new customer onboarding
• Set up occasional meetings with the wider team, elicit context internally and prepare formations as needed
• Research target partners and labels. Collection and processing of data on the independent music market in the United States
• Coordinate and lead all aspects of music assets synchronized across internal systems and platforms
• Create and manage synchronized marketing tools, emails, and newsletters
• Draft memorandums and summaries relating to new partnerships, amendments, renewals and terminations
• Dealing with DocuSign and submitting all new agreements
• Field questions about the legal rights of existing clients, working closely with the in-house legal team
• Maintain records and spreadsheets for final terms
About you:
• You are highly organized with a strong attention to detail and follow-up, and are able to work in a team environment
• You have excellent interpersonal skills
• You are able to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and deliver within deadlines
• You have experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• You have the ability to track a high volume of deals, conversations and partnerships, with the goal of achieving a mutually beneficial outcome for everyone
• You are a problem solver, and have the ability to reach the right people to work through roadblocks and accelerate timelines
We’d love it if you also have:
• Experience within the independent distribution space
• 2-4 years previous experience in a contract management or paralegal role

This position requires a minimum of four days a week in the office. We value collaboration within the office and believe it is essential to developing talent and fostering strong working relationships.
Salary range
$64,350 to $65,000 per year
Salary ranges are included in job advertisements where required by law. Actual base salary depends on many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time depending on a variety of internal and external factors.
