Job Title: A&R Coordinator
A little about our team:
Atlantic Records has always been and continues to be an A&R driven record label. The A&R department serves as the primary source for talent discovery and record labeling within Atlantic Records. A&R is what allows us to identify and sign new talent and continue recording records for currently signed artists to the roster.
Your turn:
This role supports the A&R team in New York, NY. A&R executives work across all genres, for both Atlantic Records and 10k Records. This role supports and fulfills all A&R and administrative duties. In this role you will learn all aspects of the A&R process.
Here you will get:
• Act as a liaison between the label, artists and management companies.
• Work closely with all departments including marketing, advertising, sales, product management, finance and legal.
• Assistance and opportunity to participate in coordinating song creation and recording production. Work with songwriters, publishers, mixing and mastering engineers, studio managers, and artists throughout the process.
• Maintain and develop relationships directly with artists.
• Scout and search for new artist, songwriter and producer talent.
• Work and learn with the A&R research team and assist in compiling weekly reports.
• Opportunity to review demos and cover demos.
• Cover studio sessions for A&R artist roster.
• Providing all levels of support including phones, expense reports, travel, and studio reservations.
• Manage and schedule meetings, presents, and calendars.
• Coordinate artist sessions with producers and songwriters.
• Handling travel and itineraries for A&R clients and artists.
• Attend all weekly A&R meetings and departmental song sessions.
About you:
• You are self-motivated and good at communicating.
• You will provide vital administrative support.
• You are detail-oriented and organized.
• You have an amazing ear and a keen desire to discover new music.
• You have a broad knowledge and understanding of music in all genres
• You are able to maintain relationships and evaluate talent.
• You are proactive, passionate and driven to learn about all aspects of A&R.
We’d love it if you also have:
• Previous experience in the music industry – preferably A&R
• Experience using industry tools
• Proficiency in Google Workspace

This position requires a minimum of four days a week in the office. We value collaboration within the office and believe it is essential to developing talent and fostering strong working relationships.
Salary range
$21.79 to $23.07 per hour
Salary ranges are included in job advertisements where required by law. Actual base salary depends on many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time depending on a variety of internal and external factors.
