Radford University Athletics is seeking a dynamic and creative leader to serve as Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Experience. This position reports to the Vice Director of Athletics, and is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing, branding and promotional strategies for all sports, with a strong focus on men’s and women’s basketball. The Advertising Associate will improve the fan experience at Radford Athletic events, elevate the division’s brand visibility, and increase attendance, engagement and revenue.
This role oversees game demo, video board operations, in-game promotions, and oversees the Spirit Squad and Pep Band. The position also assists in fulfilling corporate sponsorship agreements to ensure partner satisfaction and retention.
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Experience in a collegiate or professional athletics environment or related field.
· Proven success in achieving in-game marketing, branding and presentation goals.
· Knowledge of sports marketing, promotions and fan experience strategies.
