Position Summary: The District0x technology stack is run on the backend by smart contracts developed in Solidity and deployed on the Ethereum blockchain, and on the frontend by Clojurescript, React and Re-frame served via the Interplanetary File System and the associated Clojure server Via GraphQL.

As a Solidity developer, your primary goal is to build front-ends for new regions and extend libraries to serve user-created regions. The secondary goal is to create new, secure services written in Solidity, and develop automated test cases for these services. Solidity developers must work independently when building, but must collaborate with other developers to verify each other’s work and maintain the highest standards of code quality. A great Solidity developer will go above and beyond by building new and unique user experiences, and automating any routine procedures for the company as a whole.

• Create a clean and efficient development, testing and production environment.

• Delivering secure, high-quality smart contracts in Solidity.

• Write and implement test suites that cover the full range of code functionality.

• Collaborate with the team to define architecture, quality standards, and best practices.

• Document all aspects of open source contributions diligently.

• Create unique solutions to dApp user experience challenges.

• Build cutting-edge scalability solutions for the Ethereum network.

requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of development experience in Solidity or Web3 – must be able to demonstrate this through public repositories or contracts. No other applications will be considered.

• Working knowledge of scalability solutions, including zk-sync, optimistic clustering, or hashing.

• Passion for cryptocurrencies and other peer-to-peer technologies

In addition, you must be able to:

• Speak and write English fluently

• Communicate proactively (we’re 100% remote!)

• Work independently towards deadlines

• Accept salary paid in Ether
