The University of Warwick is seeking to appoint a Technical and Resource Manager in the Department of Psychology.

The main purpose of this role is to lead responsibility for the quality of the technical aspects of the Psychology Department. It also aims to support and facilitate research projects in addition to providing information technology and research skills to employees and students and making full use of the available equipment, software, devices and data.

The role assists in the design, development, maintenance and improvement of the resources, research and management processes necessary to implement the research and teaching systems in the Department of Psychology.

The role also ensures health and safety for all department activities, visitors, staff and students.

Flexible working

• We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis (eg job sharing), even though the position is advertised as full-time.

About you
It is essential to have a good honors degree in a relevant discipline and some knowledge of psychology.

This post represents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who will partner with our staff and students in managing all Psychology IT resources (hardware, software and systems) in the department.

Experience in IT support in a higher education environment is essential and especially needed in the field of Psychology.
