Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and clearly communicate them to relevant engineers, customers and/or managers.

Provide leadership in technical issue management and problem resolution by working closely with end customers and HP remote and field support personnel.

Participate in remote support lists after business hours.

Identify and contribute to projects to improve product support, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency.

Be aware of and contribute to improving team performance as measured in Team Business Fundamentals Tables (BFT).

Technical writing skills will be required to publish problem-solving documentation

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and have the ability to lead conversation/discussion

Ability to isolate and solve complex technical/business problems and ability to interact with people (customer and internal HP) at all levels and geographies. (Special team, SC members and product departments)

Possess a strong customer focus with the ability to control heights. Balancing the needs of the customer, the HP Accounts team and the ISS department.

Firmware updates and recommendations for HP Blade system environments The firmware analysis includes the case and all its components, including the blade server and storage, power and cooling components, networking, interconnects, and virtual connectivity.

Eligibility:

• Educational Qualification – Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of service and support experience on industry standard servers (HPE, Dell, IBM) with non-MS operating systems, storage and networking

• Good presentation skills

• Basic knowledge of protocols (SNMP, WBEM, RIBCL, WSMAN etc.)

• Server/storage/networking concepts

• Knowledge of Proliant, Blade/Apollo servers, Synergy and BCS products

• Basic functional knowledge on Windows, HPUX, UNIX, Linux and VMware

• Flexibility to work in shifts

• Knowledge of remote support tools/applications such as One View remote support, InfoSight and iLO Amplifier package will be an added advantage.
