York Business School was officially launched in 2018 after more than 25 years of providing business education at York St John University. York Business School is an ambitious and innovative business school where students are at the heart of everything we do. We have over 3,000 students (>1,800 undergraduates and >1,200 postgraduates) across our range of programs running at York. Our thriving national and international research profile, excellent teaching and learning and inclusive ethos support an exceptional student experience.

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Lecturer to contribute to our vibrant undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio in Business Administration/International Business. Most of your work will involve teaching in a variety of settings including large lectures and small group tutorials/seminars; appreciation; Providing pastoral and academic support to students. We are passionate about our students and they are at the forefront of everything we do. We work to ensure our courses are delivered in partnership with industry, incorporating work readiness, practical skills and digital literacy, so attention to these areas is vital. The successful candidate will also be supported in developing a strong research portfolio in management or a related field. We have two roles available, one permanent and one fixed for 12 months.

Basic requirements

Candidates will have experience teaching business administration/international business at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will be supported in developing an outstanding research portfolio in Business Administration/International Business or a related field.
