You teach computer science well because you care deeply about students, think carefully about how people learn, and enjoy creating an inspiring classroom environment.

Gulf Jewish Community High School is in need of an amazing teacher like you for most of January through June of 2026 (exact completion dates still being worked out). This position includes teaching one section of the AP Computer Science Principles and one section of the 9th grade Computer Science Fundamentals course.

When you join our innovative Maths and Science Department, you will:

• You have time during the school day to prepare great lessons and give students the one-on-one help they need
• Directly participate in creating and maintaining a welcoming, fair, and inclusive environment
• Get support from an associate dean, learning specialists, and school counselor to help you focus on your teaching
• Work alongside colleagues who will push you to become a better teacher and welcome your help in improving their teaching
• Work with supportive administrators who encourage innovative teaching, expect professional growth, and embrace research-based pedagogy
• Support students and the JCHS community by engaging in life outside the classroom

Compensation: Stipends at JCHS are a component of a compensation package that includes a daily lunch and on-site parking. This position does not include benefits. The part-time base salary range that the school expects to pay candidates for this position is $20,000 – $40,000 depending on factors such as the candidate’s years of professional experience and the actual length of leave, with additional pay available for advanced degrees and some supplemental duties.
