Dickson Poon Law School at King’s College London is one of the oldest law schools in England and recognized as one of the best law schools in the world. We are based in the east wing of Somerset House, a Grade I listed building, on our Strand campus, a short walk from the Royal Courts of Justice and the Inns of Court in the heart of legal London. About the role

Dixon Boone Law School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Law who will contribute to the teaching, research, and other academic and professional activities at Dixon Boone Law School.

The successful candidate will be expected to have completed a PhD (or equivalent qualification) by the start date. They should be keen to gain further experience in research-led teaching roles while actively participating in the management and academic life of a thriving law school.

The successful candidate’s main educational contribution will be in Criminal Law in our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

In his or her research, the successful candidate will have a demonstrably high potential to produce world-leading outputs in law and/or legal theory in relation to criminal law or justice, and/or in criminology, and a demonstrably high potential to attract research funding. The successful candidate will focus on impact and be able to contribute, if possible, to the research priorities of the research centers in the School of Law.

This is a full time position (35 hours per week) and you will be offered an open-ended contract.
