This position blends hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and strategic involvement in customer-facing AI initiatives. You’ll work across the full lifecycle of AI solutions – from understanding business requirements and defining the architecture to deploying production-ready systems that deliver measurable results. You will lead and mentor a small but growing team of AI engineers, fostering an environment of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Together, you will develop and scale AI-driven products that address real-world problems in HR, legal, education, and customer support. In addition to engineering, you will have the opportunity to deal directly with international customers – participating in pre-sales calls, presenting AI builds, and preparing technical demos. Your input will influence key technology decisions, product roadmaps, and the broader innovation direction of the company.

requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python-based AI/ML development.
• Proven experience in NLP frameworks (spaCy, HuggingFace, NLTK, Transformers).
• Strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle: model training, evaluation, fine-tuning, and deployment.
• Experience in OCR and document processing (Tesseract, OpenCV, AWS Textract, PyMuPDF).
• Familiarity with LLM integration and vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, FAISS).
• Strong API development skills (FastAPI, Flask) and knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB).
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• English level: Upper-intermediate or above.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 4 engineers, promoting growth, collaboration and technical excellence.
• Make decisions on the architecture and technology designs for scalable and maintainable AI systems.
• Conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and ensure high-quality delivery standards.
• Participate in pre-sales discussions with international customers, providing technical ideas and recommendations.
• Provide accurate technical estimates and support project scoping for new opportunities.
• Independently initiate and lead new AI projects from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Define technical scope, architecture and development roadmaps for applied AI solutions.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, software engineers, and product teams on infrastructure and deployment strategies.
• Oversee the integration of AI/ML components into enterprise platforms and ensure production readiness.
• Conduct research and experimentation using emerging artificial intelligence technologies.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation of AI frameworks and tools.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help shape the organization’s long-term AI vision.
