GeoComply seeks to obtain Incident management coordinator To join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the focal point for promoting prevention, timely detection, rapid stabilization and resolution of serious incidents. You will ensure corrective actions are successfully implemented and support strict adherence to SOC2 incident protocols
What will you do?
- Key Incident Response: Coordinate real-time incident responses, immediately deploying necessary resources to minimize impact and meet internal and external SLAs.
- On-Call Duty: Participate in on-call incident management rotations as required by business needs.
- Progress Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely incident progress data, providing consistent updates through all internal and external communication channels.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Chair RCA meetings to identify root causes, contributing factors, areas for improvement, and propose actionable plans to prevent recurrence.
- Issue Management Collaboration: Work with problem managers on recurring incidents, ensuring preventive actions are tracked and implemented.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze incident-based data to create team metrics and KPIs.
- System Health Monitoring: Provide insights and monitor system health during high traffic events.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance incident and document management processes to streamline efforts and improve resolution times.
- Report Creation: Help create effective reports for diverse audiences and provide relevant details promptly.
- Project Leadership: Lead ad hoc and strategic projects and initiatives independently or collaboratively.
About you
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar incident management role.
- Facilitation skills: Demonstrated ability to facilitate and manage complex, multidisciplinary root cause reviews, concisely summarizing discussions and decisions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills, adept at working effectively with diverse teams across different locations and cultures.
- Analytical Acumen: Deep analytical skills with a passion for gathering information from multiple sources.
- Drive to improve: Passionate about analyzing data and providing recommendations to leadership to enhance service availability and process improvements.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work within a global “follow the sun” rotation, covering local daylight hours, including holidays and weekends, on a rotating basis.
- Independence and Learning: Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification: ITIL V3 or V4 certification.
Required skills
- Experience in the gaming industry.
- Proficiency in the use of Atlassian, monitoring and on-call tools.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and/or on-premises environments.
- Russian, Ukrainian and Vietnamese language skills are an added advantage.

Salary range
- 60,000 – 92,500 Canadian dollars, annual salary
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor in many global markets. The salary for this position ranges from 60,000 per year to 92,500 per year. Salary depends on several factors evaluated during the interview, including market location, knowledge, skills and experience related to the job.
