The City of Vail is looking for a dedicated and talented individual to join our Community Development team as a Great scheme!

POSITION SUMMARY: As a Senior Planner for the City of Vail, you will be prepared to handle complex planning projects with significant community impact, shaping the future of our vibrant community through professional planning duties in areas such as current planning, long-range planning, land development regulations, special projects, and code compliance. You will be a valued member of our close-knit community development team, with an added focus as a mentor to junior planners and team members. Be prepared to demonstrate this level of team-oriented leadership through high-level initiatives as well!

Current Senior Planner salary range: $84,200 (minimum) – $126,300 (maximum).

This role will contribute to enhancing Vail’s unique character and livability while enhancing collaboration across departments, applicants and community stakeholders.
