This is an exciting time to join an organization that is instrumental in the UK higher education sector.

The Quality Assurance Agency is the UK’s independent quality body for higher education, and our aim is to ensure that students and learners receive the highest quality education possible. We have changed to meet the evolving needs of the reformed sector across the UK.

We are the UK’s body for quality and standards, acting as gatekeeper on behalf of the sector to reference points including the UK Quality Code for Higher Education, subject standards statements and higher education qualifications frameworks.

Across the UK we are the trusted partner of governments and funding bodies. In Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, we work collaboratively with industry to meet the needs of each country. In Scotland, we lead many of the delivery mechanisms for the Tertiary Education Quality Improvement Framework (TQEF), working closely with the Scottish Funding Council, Scotland’s colleges and universities and our delivery agency partners to deliver the best educational experience for students in Scotland. In England, our highly successful membership program provides a rich source of resources for strategic leaders, quality professionals, students and learners alike.

Globally, we are recognized as one of the world’s leading quality bodies and support the UK sector as it welcomes international students and expands its reach through transnational education.

We are a world-leading quality agency with unparalleled experience in providing impartial, collaborative, regulatory quality assurance and enhancement. We support universities and colleges in working with students, learners, governments, funders and regulatory bodies to demonstrate and promote the excellent quality and high standards of education they provide.

We are a remote-first organization and encourage daily flexibility. It is important to us that our business environment allows us to deliver our services in a manner and location that provides the best results for our stakeholders and clients and meets their expectations. Besides, we want individuals and teams to feel empowered to work where, when and how they want, provided the business needs are met.
