About the role:
The DClinPsy CBT Tutor will support the program’s provision of the training required for the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) pathway, linked to accreditation by the British Association for Behavior and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP). The program is accredited for all trainees at BABCP Level 1 and for a subset of trainees on the Level 2 CBT pathway. The post holder will report to the DClinPsy CBT Lead.
The postholder will work closely with program team members and placement supervisors to maximize CBT trainees’ experience and supervision within clinical placements, and to define their CBT assignments. They will provide additional online group supervision of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) where the placement supervisor is not a BABCP accredited therapist. This will complement, not replace, clinical supervision and responsibility. They will also mark CBT case reports and oral case presentations, and contribute to the teaching of CBT on the DClinPsy programme.
The usual weekly requirement will be for (remote) supervision groups to be available each week on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Additionally, on certain pre-determined dates (about four to six times per year) the mail carrier will be required to be on-site on Monday or Friday to mark presentations, attend meetings, or provide teaching.
This is a part-time position (7 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed-term contract until 12/31/2028.
