Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Administrator at the University of Bristol
The role
The CRM Administrator is responsible for creating and implementing CRM communications plans to help the University achieve its ambitious student recruitment goals. The post holder will provide advice on communication with applicants and incoming students to key stakeholders across the university based on data, evaluation and sector insights. They will play a key role in continually developing the CRM team’s operations, and applying creative solutions to problems.
What will you do?
Produce, review and improve CRM communications plans, tailored to meet the needs of each audience and for University activities such as admissions course and events.
Create complex data filters to identify audience segments and assign them to relevant emails, ensuring accuracy at all times.
Monitor and analyze results (e.g. impact of A/B testing on click-through rates) and report regularly to CRM Manager and key stakeholders; Work results feed back into communication plans as part of a ‘develop and improve’ approach.
Receive new communications requests from across the University and recommend the best approach to delivering, budgeting and negotiating the communications needs of individual stakeholders within the existing CRM plan.

- Experience planning and developing a structured communication plan for a variety of audience segments.
- Ability to work collaboratively and negotiate with people at all levels.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a pressured environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Additional information
Contract type: Fixed-term contract (09/29/2025 – 09/28/2026) / Full-time (35 hours)
Work style: The working pattern for this role is mixed. You will have the option to work from home on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
