About the opportunity

Figment supports a wide range of stakeholders, from institutional investors looking for reliable staking solutions to native cryptocurrency partners navigating complex revenue-sharing arrangements. These customers rely on Figment to deliver accurate financial reporting, seamless automation, and risk management expertise that simplifies the complexities of the blockchain ecosystem.

As a Cryptocurrency and Finance Analyst within Figment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of internal and client-facing rewards reports. You will collaborate across teams to support reporting workflows and promote data consistency. You will also provide key insights that inform strategic decision-making, such as quantifying and analyzing staking risk exposure in Figment.

Your work will include streamlining internal processes, improving financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, and addressing ad hoc challenges in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will help Figment continue to set the standards for transparency and reliability in the staking industry. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear, actionable way. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, dealing with uncertainty, and collaborating across multiple projects.

How will you have an impact?

• Support internal quota reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across key areas such as revenue storage, assets subject to quota, and accounts payable and receivable.
• Support customer facing initiatives by ensuring data, reconciliation requests, and reporting are accurate, timely, and consistent with customer expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Data Science, Customer Success, and Product, to streamline workflows, automate reporting, and improve operational efficiency.
• Own quantification of any downgrades, downtime, and missed rewards events impacting Figment customers.
• Measure and analyze staking risk exposure, contributing to Figment’s leadership in risk management and financial transparency.

What you bring to the team

• 2-3 years of experience in finance, data analysis, or related field, with proven experience in financial reporting, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel (advanced), with knowledge of SQL and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Sigma) a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven track record of delivering accurate and reliable results in fast-paced, high-risk environments.
• Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Comfortable navigating complex financial processes, with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong communicator with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Learn what it takes to succeed in a remote work environment.
• Based in North America.

• Cryptocurrency or on-chain experience with a strong understanding of the industry
• Knowledge of Ethereum, Solana, or other proof-of-stake chains

compensation

One of Figment’s core principles is to “make the invisible visible” – ensuring transparency and information sharing in all communications. Figment is committed to transparency regarding wages, benefits, and other types of compensation for all internal roles as well as all roles for which they are hired.

Basic salary: The CAD base salary range for this position is CAD $75,000 – $90,000. The US base salary range for this position is USD $75,000 – $90,000. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. For candidates in other countries, the salary range will be revealed upon your first interview with Figment (being a globally remote company, the list of salary ranges would simply be too long to mention here!). The range shown reflects the minimum and maximum range for new rentals across Canada or the United States. A candidate’s specific salary within this range will be determined by various factors including job-related skills and relevant education and training.
