Clinical Educator Veterinary Physiotherapy (0.4FTE fixed duration

Interview date: w/c 3 November 2025

The University is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Physiotherapist to join the team supporting the delivery of Veterinary Physiotherapy education at university level. This job is a part-time, 0.4FTE, fixed-term position. The main focus of the role will be to deliver canine and/or equine physiotherapy clinics/courses and enhance students’ practical physiotherapy and animal handling skills.

Key qualifications, skills and experience required:

necessary:

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in veterinary physical therapy
  • High level clinical canine and equine physiotherapy skills
  • Practical experience and knowledge of veterinary physical therapy practice especially in canine rehabilitation.
  • High level interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed

desirable:

  • Hold a relevant clinical teacher qualification or be prepared to complete this award within 3 years of employment
  • Experience of being involved in the delivery of training or teaching related to the clinical profession, preferably at a tertiary level.
  • Transfer of knowledge or publication related to research
