Associate Professor of Medical Sciences at the University of Plymouth
About the role
We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our team as an Associate Professor of Medical Sciences at the University of Plymouth Peninsula Medical School. We are excited to offer this opportunity to join an established team of passionate individuals at an exciting time, when we are focused on the future and reimagining our school to meet the challenges of delivering a medicine and health sciences curriculum in the 21st century.street century. This is a non-clinical academic position within the Peninsula Medical School.
As an academic with a strong track record of working in teaching environments that prepare students for careers in the NHS, you will be prepared to use this experience to take on leadership roles and teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes, including Medicine, Diagnostic Radiography, Physician Assistant and other postgraduate programs at Masters level. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic leader in higher education, able to teach a wide range of subjects, lead the leadership aspects of our programmes, and manage staff where appropriate. We are looking for someone to join our team, who shares a common goal: to be the best we can be.

This is a full time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the role, we are unable to accommodate working from home. You will be based in Plymouth, via the city center campus, and the North Campus (located near Derriford Hospital).
