Your turn

Global Relay requires an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager (“TPM”) to join Global Relay’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) product management team. The TPM will assume product ownership for specific products/components/features of the AI ​​product portfolio Responsible for contributing to the company’s overall AI-enabled strategy to ensure seamless integration, improve performance and drive innovation in alignment with market needs and customer requirements.

You will work closely with your agile team(s) including engineering and data scientists, cross-functional team(s), other product team members, UX, and customer/customer facing teams to deliver the product roadmap, and drive new initiatives and impactful features through the development process. Your success will provide direct impact and value to our enterprise clients from many industries including finance, insurance, healthcare, and energy.

Working with product management, senior TPMs are responsible for delivering the product roadmap that drives new products and features through the development process. They work closely with product managers to ensure roadmaps are clear, prioritized, achievable, and aligned with strategy. Senior TPM leaders reliably deliver large, complex initiatives that often involve multiple teams. They also lead the early requirements discovery and analysis work typically associated with product managers and break it down into releases, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. They work closely with team leads, architects and UI/UX architects to ensure high-quality designs are produced. TPMs attend (often lead) daily standups and other agile ceremonies, refine their team’s backlog, plan sprints, accept completed stories, monitor progress, provide report status, and manage key release activities including documentation and training.

Your responsibilities

Working in a dynamic team environment, the Senior TPM is responsible for:

• Deliver AI products/components/features in alignment with strategy and broader company roadmap
• Lead large complex initiatives from roadmap to delivery with minimal support and direction from Product Managers
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, domain modeling, use case modeling, workflow design, and documentation skills
• Recognized as an expert and natural leader within your product line
• Translate product roadmap initiatives and feature requests into appropriate models, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other elements
• Understand the design, business logic, and technical architecture of their platform components, and how these components interact with the rest of the platform
• Define and coordinate dependencies across components throughout the development process
• Proven ability and success presenting to team, business, C-level and customer stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Support, Customers, and other TPMs to produce and manage their component backlog and contribute to the product roadmap
• Recognized as an expert and natural leader within your product line
• Collaborate with TPMs, architects, UI/UX, and other team leaders to drive requirements during the design phase
• Facilitate daily standups, backlog optimization, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other team meetings with your agile team(s).
• Support product management, marketing, sales, supply, professional services, technical documentation, training and technical support throughout the release process through training, documentation, announcements and other release activities

About you

• 6+ years of experience as a Technical/Product Program Manager or Product Owner
• More than 3 years of practical experience in artificial intelligence technologies. Your expertise covers areas such as machine learning, NLP, and generative artificial intelligence
• Strong technical background with a degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business executives and C-level executives
• Strong requirements development and management skills (elicitation, analysis, use case modeling, workflow, documentation, etc.)
• Experience leading cross-team initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization
• Experience in Agile and Scrum development methodologies
• Experience planning, monitoring and reporting project status to multiple initiatives/teams
• Experience with enterprise software and Software as a Service (SaaS)

Nice to have

• Experience as a software developer/engineer
• A background in the financial or legal industries, providing the team with valuable industry-specific insights and experience
• Experience implementing and overseeing APIs
• Experience in dealing with data, reporting and business intelligence products and services
• Experience with large-scale performance and scalability

compensation:

Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in accordance with BC pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as experience, skills, education and professional background.

The range below reflects expected annual base salary, which is just one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect the pay philosophy, culture and values ​​of our company. British Columbia – Base Salary Range

$130,000 – $150,000 CAD
