This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-growing, high-speed environment. This person is a dedicated professional who is eager to grow Clio’s customer base by consulting potential customers on Clio’s Suite offerings. The ideal candidate is highly organized and agile, and will focus on new accounts covering all verticals while being confident, articulate and sensitive to the needs of potential clients while developing relationships. This role is available to candidates across Canada, except Quebec.
What your team does
our sales Development representative The team is an important part of the engine that drives interest in Clio’s product offerings across our potential customer base. They work with new clients to provide sound advice and provide solutions to complex problems using strong business acumen and resourcefulness. We create qualified sales opportunities for our account executive teams that directly impact Clio’s revenue growth.
What are you going to work on?
- MQLs work in all sectors
- Develop qualification skills for both cold and warm leads
- Call volume is 50 to 70 per day
- Work and collaborate directly with our account managers;
- Create awareness of, foster interest in, and prepare demonstrations of the Clio product;
- Build an understanding of the assigned region/sector, and develop unique solutions to uncover potential customers and generate leads;
- Develop essential sales skills through regular training and review sessions;
- Consult and adapt to the evolving sales environment.
- Understand customer practice areas, competitive differentiations, technical requirements, and demonstrate Clio’s value proposition;
- Report on weekly reports, qualitative and quantitative;
- Document all sales activities in Salesforce and meet daily KPIs
What you may have
- 1-2 years of sales experience or transferable experience, including cold calling;
- Knowledge and passion for cloud technology and products;
- Competitive mentality.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Serious bonus points if you have them
- Sales and training experience in a leading technology/IT company;
- Experience in a SaaS company.

The new expected base wage for this role is $52,500 CAD. The expected new rental commission wage is C$22,500. It is possible to have the opportunity to earn commissions exceeding the stated amounts since commission earnings are not capped.
We aim to hire all candidates between the low end and midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the high end of the salary range for internal employees who demonstrate high performance and sustained impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will depend on the individual experience and skill set of the candidate. Please note that there is a separate set of salary ranges for other regions based on the local currency.
