The role

We seek a Surrey Leaders Program Director To join our advancement team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the university’s alumni community. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of our flagship Surrey Leaders Alumni Programwhich connects, empowers and celebrates leaders from among more than 153,000 alumni worldwide.

you will:

  • Lead the design, implementation and growth of the Surrey Leaders programme, working closely with senior university leaders and external partners.
  • Manage program plans, budgets, communications and logistics to ensure outstanding engagement and impact.
  • Build strong relationships with participating alumni, speakers, and supporters, and foster a vibrant and inclusive leadership community.
  • Create high-quality events, communications and activities that inspire, communicate and showcase alumni achievements.
  • Track program outcomes and continually innovate to ensure lasting value for graduates and the university.

This is a dynamic role where you will combine project management, relationship building and creative engagement to strengthen the University’s alumni network and its contribution to the community.

About you

You will attend:

  • Proven experience in Project management, event planning, or alumni/community engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsWith the confidence to work with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • strong Organizational abilities and multitaskingWith the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to work Independently as well as collaboratively In a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
  • Flexibility to support evening or weekend events when needed.
