The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. We are looking to hire a part-time EDI Data Analyst to join our EDI team.

Based on the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team, this role strategically transforms the way LSHTM collects, analyzes and engages with EDI data. The role has responsibility for improving the quality of equality data for staff and students and is the lead in analyzing and presenting equality-related data for statutory reporting and internal decision-making. The role holder works in partnership with subject matter experts across the organization, both in the areas of management information and electronic data interchange, to create high-quality reporting methods and deliverables.

The role holder will have experience working with complex quantitative and qualitative data sets and knowledge of EDI issues, including awareness of best practices and appropriate language.

You must have a postgraduate degree/equivalent professional qualification, or experience including statistics, data analysis, production of data and insights reports and experience working in an EDI related role, with knowledge of current EDI issues, best practices and awareness of appropriate language along with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. The position is part-time, 14 hours per week, 0.4 FTE and permanent.

Salary on the LSHTM, Grade 5 pay scale will be in the range of £39,984 – £45,728 per annum pro rata (including London weight). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time employees. In addition there are discretionary “welfare days”. Membership in the pension scheme is available. The position is based in London.
