This is more than just a job, it’s a front-row seat to work. You will be the technical force behind the sound that energizes thousands of fans, athletes and alumni. From game days to special events, your business will help create memorable moments for your Auburn family.
- Operates and maintains new and existing sound systems during events at Auburn Athletics venues, including but not limited to Neville Arena, Jordan-Hare Stadium, and Plainsman Park.
- Collaborates with the Special Events team to lead all audio production needs at the venue, providing exceptional audio for third party events within Auburn Athletics venues.
- Works alongside the Athletics Department Facilities and Special Events team to meet the audio requirements for special events within athletics facilities.
- Providing technical support and training to employees on sound system operations during events.
- Provides advice and assistance as needed, with all assigned vocal duties for special events outside of Athletics Department venues.
- Provides expert audio guidance, advising on audio system design, while working with installation companies to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Develops audio strategies to enhance fan experiences at the venue and achieve production goals.
- Assists with budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships for audio equipment and services.
- Ensures audio systems comply with safety standards and university policies. Stay up to date on the latest audio technology trends and suggest improvements to your venue’s sound quality.
- He works nights, holidays and weekends.
- May be responsible for training, assisting, or assigning tasks to others. May provide input to performance reviews of other employees.
Education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering and communications, RTV (radio, television, film), broadcast journalism, information systems, recording and production, sound and sound, music, show production, music technology, or related field and two years of experience operating or installing audio systems in venues, arenas, stadiums, theaters, or concert halls, or experience in audio systems through work within AV installation and operation companies.
University degree or professional certificate in electronics, engineering and communications, RTV (radio, television, film), broadcast journalism, information systems, recording and production, sound and sound, music, show production, music technology, or related field and 4 years of experience operating or installing audio systems in venues, arenas, stadiums, theaters, or concert halls, or experience in audio systems through work within AV installation and operation companies.
High school diploma And 6 years of experience in operating or installing audio systems in places, arenas, stadiums, theaters, or concert halls, or experience in audio systems by working within AV installation and operation companies.
