Description of the situation
Postdoctoral researcher position in Quantitative Finance/Mathematical Economics
A postdoctoral researcher position in Quantitative Finance/Mathematical Economics is currently available in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to work with Professor Mario Ghoussoub and Professor Max Nendl. Possible topics may include risk sharing, general equilibrium theory and its applications, optimal transportation and its economic/financial applications, etc.
Appointments are usually one or two years long. Teaching is not mandatory for this position, but a postdoctoral fellow may have the opportunity to teach (with compensation) no more than one course in statistics or actuarial science per academic year based on teaching qualifications.
