We are looking for talented systems engineers to join our team, and work with other engineering disciplines to help develop multiple best-in-class products and solutions.

As a member of the Joint Strike Fighter Training & Logistics Software Configuration Management (SCM) team, your job is to maintain the integrity and traceability of the software the software has released to its customers.

As a Software Configuration Management Analyst, you will:
Track and maintain all program software and data on training devices
Manage and control all configuration changes
Assign unique identifiers to software and data used by training devices
Support routine engineering reviews and configuration audits
Review changes made to the software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
Ensure that data and physical media have all appropriate labels and tags
Disseminate data to program and government clients

The team works in a software-focused environment where a variety of software tools are used ranging from MS Office, to Atlassian suite, to DOORS Next, to internal bash/python/PowerShell automation scripts. Strong computer skills are expected. Team tasks vary day to day based on the needs of the program, so organization and communication skills are important to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.

NOTE: This position requires on-site presence in the Orlando office to meet customer needs. Search for individuals who have the ability to flex their work hours intermittently to support program schedules.
Basic qualifications:
Experience in software configuration management in the defense industry
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with two or more years of professional experience
Experience using analytical skills to track and understand relationships between hardware and software systems
Experience in data analysis and workflow processes
Experience with software tools and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Required skills:
Experience in software development and design
Experience with software object storage systems such as Nexus, Artifactory, or GitLab
Demonstrate the skills needed to solve problems and implement constructive change
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US citizen to be considered.
Clearance level: Confidentiality with investigation or biographical history within 5 years

Ability to work remotely: Full-Time On-Site: Work associated with this position will be performed on-site at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternative work schedules that provide additional flexibility for our employees. Schedules range from a standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while other schedules may be condensed. These shortened schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office, in addition to the benefits of paid time off.
Timeline for this position: – 4 x 10 hours per day – 3 days off per week
