Simons Professor of Mathematics/Mathematical Physics*

Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) plans to appoint five associate professors or specialist professors in mathematics or mathematical physics, starting in 2026. Candidates must have a PhD in mathematics or a closely related field.

Open positions in the recently established Mathematics Department at the Kuwait Stock Exchange. The newly appointed faculty will play a leading role in developing the department and in fostering collaboration across the global research community. A KSE professor’s duties include conducting research, supervising graduate students, and teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. Languages ​​of instruction are English and Ukrainian. Knowledge of the Ukrainian language is not required. Our teaching workload is about 50% full time, or three lecture courses per year. This includes teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as running seminars for postgraduate students.

* The Kuwait Stock Exchange plans to establish a department for theoretical physics in the near future. One of the goals of this competition is to find high-level mathematical physicists or theoretical physicists willing to spend a significant amount of time at KSE to supervise the creation of the new department.

Contract type: A fixed-term contract, to be extended upon completion of a successful review after three years
