Position Overview:
As a Senior Product Manager at Diligent, you will own your own product roadmap and drive the solution in the right direction by identifying market and customer needs and opportunities. You will liaise directly with our customers to understand their needs, provide market insights and data, and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure the right vision for individual solutions is achieved. This is a cross-functional role, delivering impactful solutions on our Diligent platform.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement a product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and strategy.
Responsible for the roadmap of the product(s), from ideation to launch.
Be the voice of the customer on our product team, by communicating clearly and sharing insights about our customers and how we can do their jobs better.
Serve as a leader of a cross-functional team of developers, UX designers, customer success, sales, and marketing stakeholders.
A detailed understanding of the capabilities, functional limitations, user scenarios, and business value derived from the product(s) and how they intersect with other Diligent products and third-party products
Deliver high-quality, on-time user experiences on multiple platforms (mobile, web, desktop) to target people.
Responsible for creating and maintaining a prioritized backlog of user stories with clearly written user stories.
Develop and maintain strong business domain knowledge, and apply problem-solving skills to address critical and complex issues to ensure product development in light of the organizational strategy.
Responsible for continually tracking product performance, user engagement, and measuring results.
Monitor the external market landscape, including competitor analysis and market trends to inform the product roadmap.
Experience/skills required:

4+ years of experience in a product management role, including SaaS product experience in recent years
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong business acumen.
1-3 years of experience in the field and market
Demonstrated experience in writing technical and functional requirements.
Demonstrated experience in direct interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate with other development teams.
Experience integrating with multiple products (desirable).
Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar qualifications (desirable)
