You will own design across product and brand for the Genius ecosystem. Tradegenius is building a next-generation cryptocurrency exchange, with the deepest network coverage of any terminal, and the most liquid backers in the industry (request more details). Design isn’t decorative here: it’s a conversion driver, a retention loop, and brand differentiation.

Your mission is to design the Genius brand and product experience around two guiding principles:

1. Joy – Elegant and seamless user journeys that surprise and satisfy.

2. Dopamine – Behavioral design that rewards participation, motivates repetition, and maintains community cohesion.

Typical users

• Discretionary traders, big whales, sophisticated players, and those with a high risk tolerance.

• The audience is an encrypted audience, but tolerance for poor user experience should not be confused with acceptance. The design goal is to set a new standard: the speed and native power of encryption with ease of use and consumer-level refinement.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement Genius design system across all surfaces (terminal, onboarding flows, rewards, referrals, mobile).

• Translating abstract infrared trading into intuitive human-to-human interactions; Make complex financial procedures clear and addictive.

• Partner with product and engineering to ship UI/UX that converts, retains and scales globally.

• Drive visual identity, brand language and marketing design with cohesion across web, social and community touchpoints.

• Implement feedback loops: Design experiments, measure dopamine hits, and redouble efforts to achieve successful outcomes.

• Proven track record of building and shipping consumer products, ideally in fintech, cryptocurrency, or high-risk systems.

• Proficiency in design, motion and interaction systems beyond static screens.

• Literacy in behavioral psychology: the ability to model dopamine without losing confidence.

• Obsessed with details: typography, subtle interactions, and moments of delight.

• Strong cross-functional communication; Design decisions can be defended to engineers and investors alike.

• Bias for action, ownership, and comfort with ambiguity.
