Research associate at the University of Glasgow
We have an opportunity for a Research Assistant to contribute to the work of the consortium * Policy Modeling for Health (“HealthMod”, 2024-2028) and associated projects, * work with Dr Andreas Hohn, Professor Petra Mayer and the wider Systems Sciences team in Public Health within the Public Health Unit, Faculty of Health and Wellbeing.
HealthMod is a large UK-wide research program linking scientists, policy makers and charities interested in using economic policy to improve people’s health. Taking a systems science approach, the HealthMod Consortium develops computational modeling of public health that provides timely and effective support to real-world policy processes.
The successful candidate will become part of a multidisciplinary team and support the development of data and modeling assets that are used across the HealthMod Consortium and associated projects. The candidate will also operate tools developed to perform supervised analyzes and make contributions to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals when opportunities arise during an interdisciplinary and often co-produced research process.
