Role:

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with AWS experience, to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring information security for our business. You will work within a team that designs and builds resilient, secure cloud environments that proactively prevent security threats.

Key responsibilities of the job include:

• Design and build cloud infrastructures that are resilient and protected against security threats
• Develop and evaluate cloud security solutions to secure systems, databases and networks
• Conduct assessment and make recommendations to ensure appropriate controls are in place
• Gain insight into security incidents and threats by monitoring/analyzing logs and performing vulnerability assessments
• Participate in efforts that shape company security policies, procedures, and standards for use in cloud environments
• Create security reports at the technical and administrative level for cloud-based applications and infrastructure
• Implement and test network and security disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
• Monitor the use of sensitive data and regulate access to security information
• Ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data during its transfer, storage and processing
• Reviewing violations of security procedures and discussing procedures with violators to ensure they are not repeated
• Provide support to end users regarding network and security related issues

Main requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Security or any other related field
• At least one year of work experience in information security, with a focus on cloud security
• Deep technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud will be considered an advantage
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like IAM, Organizations, SSO, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.
• A clear understanding of current threats to cloud infrastructure and advanced knowledge of securing such environments
• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies is a plus
• Experience building and deploying applications on the cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform is a plus
• Experience in container security is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and integrate well within the team
• Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and in depth
