Project Leader (18-month fixed term) at the University of East Anglia

Salary upon appointment will be £48,822 per annum, with an annual increase of up to £56,535 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated project leader to join the Faculty of Science.

Key duties of the role include professional project management, coordinating the college’s input into the design and delivery of the Campus Development Program Phase 1 project, and working effectively with colleagues within the College of Science, external project managers, consultants, the Real Estate Facilities Department and the wider university community.

In this role, you will prepare and present the implementation plan for moving equipment and activities from existing research facilities to modern STEM research laboratories.

You will need a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field and/or significant recent experience working in a similar role, along with experience of taking on a leadership role in a project team and managing budgets.

You will have experience working effectively with external organizations and demonstrable experience on construction projects or teams in a ‘live’ environment. With extensive knowledge of health and safety management within laboratories, you will also have excellent interpersonal and report writing skills.

This full-time position is available on a fixed-term basis for 18 months, with the possibility of extension.
