The role
Moonbug is looking for a Label Coordinator to support the music team. This role is based in our London office in the heart of Camden. At Moonbug, you’ll be working with some of the biggest brands in family entertainment; One of the fastest growing genres in music. This is an exciting role and opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in the music industry.

The successful candidate will be proactive, self-motivated and with a strong desire to learn and develop. You will need to be digitally confident, organised, detail-oriented and able to adapt to new challenges.

You will be responsible for supporting the operations team and administrative work, supporting the management of music assets, metadata, release schedules and campaigns.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the Senior Label Coordinator in programming releases, creating music metadata, managing digital assets, and managing music rights.
• Support the day-to-day management of the label, and contribute to all naming and naming services projects.
• Liaise with the internal design team to request and organize assets for DSPs and marketing campaigns, and provide feedback based on DSP best practices.
• Update and maintain DSP profiles for artists (e.g., Spotify for artists, Apple Music for artists).
• Help maintain the label catalog in our internal database.
• Provide administrative support to the label’s marketing, creative and business teams as required (e.g. DSP and playlist backend view and assistance with creative briefs).
• Contribute creative ideas to release planning and content optimization on DSPs.

Basic experience and qualifications:
• Previous experience in digital operations at a record label or distribution company.
• Understand how digital music platforms work.
• Interest in the music industry scene.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and G Suite.
• Experience creating and managing music metadata.
• Excellent communication and organization skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in collecting and compiling streaming data.
