Piano Faculty Position, Concordia Conservatory, Bronxville, NY 10708
summary
Concordia Conservatory of Music is seeking an experienced Piano Teacher for its location in Bronxville. The part-time position includes 3 – 16 hours of private piano instruction per week on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Providing private piano instruction to students of all ages, from five years old to adults, tailoring lessons to individual needs and skill levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in music or related field is required, Master’s or PhD preferred.
- A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in an academic or community music school setting.
- Professional conduct with the ability to represent the conservatory effectively.
- Ability to work with confidential information and exercise discretion.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to promoting a healthy cultural environment consistent with the mission of Concordia Conservatory.
- Report to the Head of the Piano Department, Helen Yedijarian

- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate a positive and dedicated attitude as a team member toward the purposes, programs, policies, and goals of the Conservatory.
