The MacDuffie School is accepting applications for the Skilled Maintenance Supervisor position. Successful applicants will have a background in building maintenance and general manual services, with preference given to applicants with experience and/or licensed in one or more trades (HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, etc.) Preference given to candidates with experience in commercial scale HVAC including steam heating plants.

The successful candidate will be provided with all necessary personal protective equipment and tools. Duties include general maintenance, grounds maintenance, and repairs on our 240+ acre campus with over 100,000 square feet of occupied floor space (including classrooms, dormitories, commercial kitchens, science labs, and office space).

Applicants must have reliable transportation to campus, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have a good disposition. This position reports to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance and works closely with the Director of Cleaning Services and Housekeeping staff as well as our food service provider.

Previous experience at a college, boarding school or large residential complex is preferred but not required.
