Hunter College is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and highly effective leader to manage the Technical Services Unit at Hunter College Libraries.

Reporting to the Dean and Chief Librarian, the Head of Technical Services will provide strategic direction and lead staff in Technical Services activities of acquisition, electronic resource management, metadata, and discovery. This position is responsible for the overall administration and coordination of work and for the establishment and implementation of technical services policies, standards and procedures across Hunter College Libraries.

This position will be based on Hunter College’s main campus on East 68th Street in Manhattan and will support the branch libraries of Social Work, Public Health, Health Professions, and the Arts.

Associate Professor salary range is $90,838 – $129,041
The full professor salary range is $113,982 – $136,546
