Who are you:

A collaborative and experienced back-end engineer with 6+ years of hands-on development in Go, who specializes in building secure and scalable systems. You are comfortable designing and maintaining gRPC microservices, and have a strong understanding of containerization, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices. You work well with others to solve complex problems, contribute to system design, and ensure smooth and reliable operations. You are proactive in learning and applying new technologies to improve performance and efficiency.

What will you do:

• Design and maintain large-scale back-end systems using Go (Golang)
• Implement and optimize microservices using gRPC and protocol buffers
• Build and manage container services and infrastructure (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Ensure security compliance and best practices in back-end development
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure and system issues
• Monitor performance, reliability and security of back-end services
• Document system architecture, design and deployment processes
• Develop and support automation for back-end workflows
• Contribute to technical decision-making and system design
• Stay abreast of industry trends and apply them to improve systems

What we are looking for:

• 6+ years of backend development experience, focusing on Go (Golang)
• Strong knowledge of gRPC and protocol buffers
• Experience using containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Good understanding of network protocols and system security
• Familiarity with Envoy or similar service mesh tools
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus points:

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger)
• Background in distributed systems and fault-tolerant design
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
