Fixed term contract

Exeter College is seeking to appoint a Salary lecturer in administration. This is a fixed-term, non-renewable, part-time position that can be held from January 1 to December 31, 2026.

The lecturer will be required to undertake 48 ‘contact’ hours of tutorials or class teaching for undergraduates in the College (or, by exchange, for undergraduates in other Colleges).

In addition, they will be required to: prepare and grade college examinations; Submit periodic reports; Full participation in the undergraduate admissions process and outreach/outreach activities; Serve as an advisor (mentor) to graduate students; And participate fully in the management of the administration and related subjects within the college.

The post holder will give private lessons and revision lessons on the following topics:

• Public Administration (Year 1)

The ability to teach additional papers would be an advantage, but is not essential.

The salary for this appointment will be in the range of £8,284 – £9,154 per annum. In addition, a range of other generous benefits are available, as set out in additional details.
