The all-new CBS Atlanta is looking for a curious, collaborative, and creative Writer/Producer/Editor who can craft polished marketing that embodies the excitement of CBS Atlanta! You will be part of a team dedicated to audience development, engagement and brand strategy. CBS Atlanta is a great place to work, so candidates should have excellent social skills, as well as an enthusiasm for new ideas and partnership.

Responsibilities:
• Write, produce and edit promotions, marketing and other business initiatives as required.
• Be adaptable and ready to meet changing production requirements.
• Write compelling copy that aligns with broadcast and social messaging and branding strategy.
• Design and produce promotional and commercial content using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
• Contribute to the creative direction and visual identity of CBS Atlanta.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high production standards.
• Autonomous and collaborative in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in promoting station events
• Schedule a promo

Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience as a writer/producer/editor.
• Partnership mentality, with interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven working knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud – especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Comprehensive understanding of brand marketing.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to receive feedback.
• Background news plus.
• The ability to recognize target audience preferences and develop content to meet these preferences.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles.
• Excellent storytelling, communication and organization skills.
• A demo reel showcasing related work is required.
