A well-known talent and production management company is looking for a highly organized and proactive Associate to provide managerial and administrative support to the Business and Legal team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multitask efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling meetings and conference calls for department attorneys
Forward calls and manage incoming calls
Take careful notes of calls and minutes of meetings
File expenses
Assist in coordinating events as needed
Maintain an extensive digital filing system
Track business affairs deals and negotiations through different stages
Track legal agreements, including managing contract signatures
Work cross-departmentally to ensure accurate tracking and payment of financial obligations
Handle confidential information with wisdom and sound judgment
Learn and support various business operations and legal affairs, including:
Understand the types of entertainment deals and agreements
Comply with union requirements
Support the flow of deals and agreements through the department
This position provides a unique opportunity to see the work of business and law across a wide range of media, as the firm is actively involved in the production of feature films, television, digital/new media, music video and commercials. Interest in building a business-oriented and/or legal career is a plus.
