Assistant Development Coordinator at NBCU in Universal City, CA | 502590
This is a full time job
The Entertainment Coordinator will provide administrative support to two drama development executives within the Universal Television Studio organization, and will serve as a liaison to internal NBCU departments as well as the external business and creative community. This position is located in the Universal City, CA offices.
Basic responsibilities
• General administrative duties including but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling meetings, planning all travel arrangements for executives, and compiling expense reports
• Maintaining a record of submission and other departmental documents
• Help connect with the creative community on a daily basis
• Conduct research as requested and maintain general awareness of industry trends, trends, talent and competitive environment
• Distribute materials to internal and external parties as needed following strict protocols
Qualifications
Basic requirements
• Minimum 1 year working within a studio, network, agency or production company in an assistant capacity.
• Working knowledge of Air Table, Adobe, Final Draft and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
Desired characteristics
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of how the TV development process works and the key players within the industry.
• Readiness to read and Cover writing For available IP address – texts, books, articles, podcasts, etc.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and multi-tasking oriented, as the position will assist a high volume department
• Flexible, personable, principled and highly detail-oriented with the ability to interact with the creative community as well as all levels of NBCU staff
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A team player who is willing to step in to help when needed and has a positive attitude

• Must be covered by Resolutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
• Hybrid: This position is classified as hybrid, and generally contributes from the office a minimum of three days per week.
