The Visa Compliance Officer will manage compliance with the UKVI Student Route regulations, and others as required, in relation to international students by leading the development, implementation and maintenance of points-based immigration systems and processes, reporting international student data and working with stakeholders to support compliance across the College.

The Visa Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the college meets all UKVI requirements prior to arming, issuing CAS interviews and complying.

The Visa Compliance Officer will be confident in making decisions on immigration status, reporting to the Home Office and knowing when to identify and advise the Compliance Management Team and colleagues on changes to UKVI policy and procedures. You will also need to monitor performance against UKVI core compliance assessment and other key measures and provide management reports detailing current risks and opportunities.

You will also collaborate with the College’s Human Resources team to ensure Right to Work checks and track visa expiration dates for all students and workers on any type of visa in accordance with best practices.
