Boeing is looking for System and network administrator engineer To join the Space Systems Verification and Testing team at El Segundo, California. In this position, you will contribute to a team responsible for hardening, deploying, automating, preparing, and readiness of special test equipment in plant and launch environments.

System and network administrator functions support 24/7 testing operation. This position is meaning 4th shift and various shifts, nights, weekends and alternate shifts that may be required to support program objectives.

Our teams are currently hiring for a wide range of experience levels including a partner and Intermediate level Engineers Engineers Engineers Network Administrator.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides factory floor support for multiple programs; Define and document test setups, deployment of test programs and configurations, troubleshooting, communication/coordination requests, and support requests from the team to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity

• Develop, implement, and support tools that meet product security requirements

• Uses agile methodologies to plan, implement and track a product security statement of work

• Develops and enhances system and architecture requirements for product security to meet all applicable certifications and customer requirements

• Configures and ensures the security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for the product: design, development, construction, testing, storage, delivery, operations, and support

Basic qualifications (required skills/experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an approved course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science

• Current Comptia Comptia+ certification

• Experience in operating systems: Windows Server, Redhat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Cisco IOS

• Experience in cyber security

Preferred qualifications (required skills/experience):

• Level 3: 3 or more relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• ITIL Certification 4

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification

• Experience in VMware Virtualization

• Experience in Oracle Solaris

• Experience in Cisco, ASA and Palo Alto firewall switches

Assistant salary range summary: $85,850 $116,150

Wage Summary Mid-Level Range: $102,000 – $138,000
