Second project coordinator Worksafebc function on T -Net

Our property and place services team (RPWS) is responsible for real estate, space planning, construction, infrastructure, project management, sustainability, risk management and work services for all of our offices throughout the province.
We are looking for the II project coordinator to support the successful delivery of a wide range of projects in the workplace in the field of workplace improvements, furniture systems, interior design, renovations, construction, construction and equipment infrastructure.

Where will you do?
In this role, you will work in our office in Richmond five days a week.
What will you do?
As an II project coordinator:
- Be responsible for coordinating complex projects by developing, planning, designing and coordinating all functional, technical, operational and financial aspects and project details under the supervision of the RPWS manager.
- Contractors supervise, including monitoring and inspection of active work sites to determine whether progress in work and mastery extends in accordance with the contract documents. Ensure that the quality of the work is within the criteria of departments and is completed in time and costly effective.
- It is supervised by transitional activities from renewal/construction to occupancy, including: planning, implementation and post -employment management.
- Be the facilitator among the various stakeholders such as internal customers, the higher leadership, the external stakeholders, the professional advisers and the contractors.
- Prepare design drawings or graphics operating using autocad and provide the work direction for the project coordinator I.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and coordination of health and safety activities on the site.
- Models constantly level of expected organizational behaviors from all Worksafebc: Responsible, respectable, fair, cooperative, responsibility, and thinking forward.
Is this suitable for you?
We are looking for someone who can:
- Show strong organizational skills and can start and oversee design and construction processes require excellent organizational skills.
- Communication effectively as the main coordinator between many stakeholders, including clients, external advisers and contractors, and strong communication skills are necessary.
- Be efficient in AutoCAD and artistic drawing, and experience is very important to prepare design drawings and work drawings.
Your background and your experience
- It is better to be a Bachelor’s degree (Construction Management, Architectural and Building Technology, Interior Design, Project Management, Facilities Management, or Related Formulating Spaces), and AutoCAD
- Not less than 4 years of directly relevant project coordination experience related to the design of the workplace, /or building and project management.
- Experience in managing the workplace projects and/or building facilities is one of the assets
- Knowing the work of planning space, design and relevant regulatory requirements
- Knowing the work from AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Project
- A valid BC driver’s license (this position requires the job operator to travel throughout the province, either flying or driving, and staying overnight).
An equivalent mix of education and expertise will be considered

Salary: $ 38.48 – 48.46 dollars/every hour
