We are looking for a researcher to lead efforts to generate three -dimensional reconstruction of fossil plants to describe the development of Physlotaxis. The project is located in Dr. Sandy Hetherington Laborat https://www.ed.ac.uk/biology/groups/hettingtonAt the Institute of Molecular Plant Science.

Opportunity:

The aim of the project is to describe the development of Phyllotaxis in early carbon fossil plants from Scotland. This will require the creation of new three -dimensional rebuilding operations for fossil plants from tomography data and processing these data collections to investigate the arrangement of the papers. Besides this role, the candidate will also work closely with other laboratory members who create three -dimensional reconstruction to provide advice, support and training on three -dimensional retail programs.

Your skills and characteristics for success:

• Certificate in the field of appropriate topic or three -dimensional retail and perception.
• Experiment to generating 3D digital rebuilding operations for plants.
• Experiment to processing 3D construction for phyllotaxis analysis.
• A passion for working in a team, advice, support and training for digital retail and visualization.
