Power Declaration: Program Director, Rare Books School RBMS
Salary range: 58,000.00 dollars to 65,000.00 dollars annually
School Rare Book School (RBS) provides continuous opportunities in education for students of all specializations and skills levels to study the history of written, printed and digital materials with researchers and professionals in this field.
RBS is looking for the program manager directed towards details, with self -motives, and thinking forward to help the program manager in facilitate excellent educational programming. In addition to working with the Program Director, the program manager will work closely with colleagues of the Programs Department and other members of RBS employees to maintain successful educational programming in RBS.
The program manager will be asked:
- Because of the basic responsibility for planning space, employees and scabing, and providing logistics for events and training course activities during each session for a week in Charlottesville, as well as in partner institutions for the dimensional dimension throughout the year;
- Communication regularly with individuals who learn, progress, participate in, teach, care, support, or associate differently to any RBS course or program;
- Coordination of the session’s session details with other members of the program team, including online classes;
- Traveling to oversee the session sessions in partner institutions;
- Keep the welcome environment for all RBS guests and colleagues;
- Work as an official/selection committee in certain programs from the fellowship and/or scholarships;
- A special advertisement with the Communications Department;
- Helping to track the course applications through the admission process;
- Participate in employing and managing the staff of the session and arranging their housing;
- Maintaining program and standards activities;
- Ensure compliance with the program’s budget;
- Participate in maintaining database records;
- Learn software systems and train new appointments as needed;
- Edit and analyze the training course evaluation data; and
- Implement other duties related to the program as needed.

A successful candidate will work in the Charlottesville office, VA RBS. Work will be needed inside the office or on the site, but RBS provides flexibility for some remote work.
Required qualifications: Advanced degree in humanities or social sciences; Teaching and educational design experience; Non -profit work experience; Administrative experience; Time with computer operating systems or MAC, MS Office Suite, InDesign, Acrobat, and Photoshop; Database management experience, especially with Salsforce systems; Ifta with Chicago style guide; And a valid driving license.
This is a full -time position, throughout the year, exempt, with wages. The salary ranges from $ 58,000 to $ 65,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits will include health insurance (including teeth and vision); Long -term disability; Obserize the tuition fees to attend one course RBS every year; The retirement plan 403 (B), with the employer’s contribution to a match of up to 5 % (after one year).
