Lecturer in Economics (teaching track) at the University of Surrey

To support its growing student population, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Surrey would like to appoint three lecturers (focus on teaching) on ​​a fixed contract (7 months) and a part-time contract (0.3 FTE). Successful candidates will contribute to our teaching activities and will undertake administrative duties related to their teaching tasks, and to the wider teaching activities in the Faculty of Economics. Positions will begin on January 5, 2026 and will end on July 31, 2026.

We encourage applications from candidates with educational experience in any field of economics. Candidates must maintain, or be completing, a PhD in economics or related field and must have previous experience teaching economics in a university or similar setting. Resourcefulness, enthusiasm and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and work as part of a supportive team are important attributes of successful candidates.
