Lecturer in crime science at West England University, Bristol
About this role
We are seeking to appoint a new lecturer in crime science to help develop and contribute to teaching, research and exchange of knowledge within the College of Social Sciences at West England University. We are an important department that includes several hundred students and more than 20 employees.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for the right individual to contribute to our vibrant section, as colleagues have a set of academic interests and real experience. You will support the presentation of university level units via a criminal wallet. This will include teaching, evaluation and support for academic and vocational development for students. Depending on your interests and experiences, there may also be opportunities to contribute to the design of curricula, unit leadership or applied research activities.
About you
We ask candidates who have a variety of skills and have good experience in directing students through basic concepts and applying criminality.
You should be qualified for the level of graduate studies (or on the verge of completion) with relevant academic experience. If you are from a professional/industrial background, you should get a master’s degree (or higher) in a subject related to this position, along with professional/industrial experience. You should also be able to display evidence of the continuous academic / professional growth in related fields.
