Horse paid lecturer in health and social care at Bath SPA U LTD
Location: On the site, London, Canary Warf
Bath Spa Yu Ltd. is part of the Bath Spa University group, which is wholly owned by Bath Spa University. The purpose of the role
As a member of the academic team, she will teach, evaluate and manage the classroom associated with university units in the field of health and social welfare at Bath SPA U LTD.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing high -quality education and learning through a set of programs within the higher education environment,
- He teaches students, including supervision of the final year, and providing appropriate support to enable students to achieve their goals and advance to positive destinations.
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the courses, and coordinate effectively with both employees and students.
- Providing sessions on a specific topic in line with the results of learning and the curricula of the units.
- Setting measures to understand students’ learning needs in their units.
- Student support for training feedback in a timely manner to the extent determined by all the specifications of the program.
- Place a mark and make final notes during the specified deadline
- Production of the appropriate unit/unit reports.
- To take responsibility for additional academic responsibilities, such as the leadership of the unit, etc.
Personal specifications
necessary:
- A good first degree in the relevant specialization
- Experience in working in virtual learning environments (VLES) to support learners.
desirable:
- Actually or seeks to get a higher degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in various teaching methods and/or experience in the university level.
- Teaching and learning certificate in higher education is accredited by the Higher Education Academy (Hea) or the Hea Fellowship.
Skills and knowledge
necessary:
- Show in -depth knowledge of the appropriate topic for the role
- Excellent communication skills suitable for teaching university students with various backgrounds
- The ability to work successfully as part of a small team.
- The ability to manage time for limited supervision.
- Excellent organizational/administrative skills and information technology
- A clear commitment to the teaching environment and learning that focuses on the student.
- Flexible and adaptable to a positive approach to change
