Your work will directly help people move out of poverty and improve community well-being.

What you will do: A hands-on role

The core of this job involves working directly with customers, especially in their homes, to provide personalized advice on energy use. We are looking for someone who is calm, organized and focused on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit customers’ homes to set up and manage smart meters and data loggers to collect energy, temperature and humidity data.
• Provide practical energy advice to clients, in person and over the phone, using aggregated data to inform your recommendations.
• Maintain clear and accurate case records for all clients you work with.
• Always prioritize the client’s overall well-being, including flagging or referrals to other relevant support services when needed.
• Providing or installing small measures (energy saving items) that can help improve efficiency or change energy habits.

Position details

role: Home visit to an energy consultant
salary: £27,189 – £28,728 (Pro rata if part-time). The pay increases to the senior division after successful completion of training.
hours: 30 to 37 hours per week. This is it permanent a contract. We can discuss flexible working arrangements.
location: CA1066 office in St Leonards-on-Sea When not going out on customer visits.
Reports to: Project manager and energy services supervisor
