The new student life service brings together myBradford and current students to create a new front line as our students can access high -quality advice, guidance, and support them on a set of university issues, money and social welfare.

In addition to responding to general inquiries from students related to a wide range of university issues, student life service will provide a wide range of financial advice, including student financing, hardship support, and guidance on the advantages of social welfare. Student life service will also provide support for a range of pastoral issues.

What will you do:

• It is the first point of communication for all inquiries in the service of student life, the general advisor for students works as a screening point for the service of student life, ensuring that advisers specializing in students ’lives are able to maintain the ability of complex conditions and risks.
• Primary Information Management through a set of options that are delivered through face -to -face meetings in a service office, via date, e -mail, or via phone. They will also be responsible for the trilogy via the university cases management system and evaluate whether students need a more urgent level of support and making appropriate referrals.
• Providing advice and initial guidelines related to financial support to legal and discretionary students, including reviewing the requests of hardship funds, and ensuring that appropriate and sufficient information and evidence.
